Minecraft Server Owners. Which hostings do you use after you've finished development?

Hey!

For you guys that operate a Minecraft Server or own one, for development servers, do you just rent a server from sites such as PebbleHost, Shockbyte and stuff? Do you keep it on those hosting websites and upgrade RAM or all that, or do you guys entirely move from one host to a better one?

Just curious!
Thank you,
Uluro

As far as development servers go, you should either host a local server on your computer, or rent a cheap one on Pebblehost or another cheap hosting website.

When running a server once it’s official, I recommend a VPS. I’m not an expert however there are many people that know about them.

You just rent a server if needed or self host, then throw it onto a dedicated server or VPS once you are ready to go live. You either keep with the same hosting website if they are reliable and work with upgrading the RAM and specifications, or use a different host if they are cheaper and/or better.

Maybe I might be able to lend you a hand in this discussion. Send me a DM on Discord, it's in my signature.
