Whenever I try to login to Minecraft utilizing PureVPN, I keep getting "Invalid credentials" despite my credentials being correct (It works on my normal IP), the reason I am trying to play on a VPN is because there's this server I wanna go on, but due to the owner hating me and would ddos the shit out of me, I wanted to be safe than sorry. I tried the following things:

Launch client -> Activate VPN -> Result: Invalid Session
Activate VPN -> Launch Client -> Login with correct credentials -> Invalid credentials (Real ip works)

If anyone can help that'd be great! I am using PureVPN btw.

I recommend you use Vypr VPN as it bypasses minecraft/servers. Or as it may be your IPAdress may be blocked from the mojang servers.
Costs $ sadly ;c

Seems like Mojang just blocked common VPN host names. MC used to work with HotSpotShield until around 4-5 months ago it stopped working. I purchased a paid service and all the US IPs work just fine.

I heard from someone that Mojang blocked like all of OVH's subnets, digital ocean has been blocked too according to some testing i did; you're probably best off with paid services now.
