Minecraft/VPS/Dedi Hosting Service (Suggestions)

I am looking for suggestions on what Minecraft/VPS/Dedi hosting service I should use. I've used a variety of them, and I just want your guys personal opinions/suggestions. I'm also looking for ideas on which hosting type I should choose, I will be willing to go with VPS if it's cheap enough, or if there is a good-enough shared hosting provider that will suit needs.
I don't have an exact transcript of what I will need, but here is a general idea:
Players: 10-40
RAM: 4-10GB (maybe more)
Plugins: 40-60

Short Summary: My server will be a Factions/Survival server that will need to be fast due to combat. It cannot be laggy.

Just to let you know, I also will be considering VPS or maybe Dedicated Server providers if they appeal to me. I do know Linux if I was to go that direction, so that wouldn't be a problem. I just don't want to go with one of those Summer companies or some company that is bad. I am open to suggestions, whether it be a MC, VPS, or Dedicated Server Hosting company.

If you're looking for something a bit bigger, with so more potential, they'll take you quite far! Plus they have a 30% off going on for game server ;)

However, if you're wanting to stick to the expectations you have, there are several very good options, like minecraft-hosting.pro ($3 a gb) There are cheaper options like voodooservers.com ($2 a gb) I personally really enjoyed peachy.host 's budget servers ($1 a gb), although they've had some issues with keeping their servers up recently.

Well I was looking into that, because I have other stuff I can use it for too.

A dedicated server would probably be overkill for this. Shared Minecraft hosting or a VPS would be your best options.

The livechat is almost always offline, though.

Livechat is manned for roughly 8-12 hours per day. If we're offline, you can leave a message and one of the agents will get back to you within a few hours via email :)
