About
MineHeist is a new and unique gamemode changing the way the normal Prison gamemode as well as the Hardcore Faction gamemode is played. We are combining the aspects of hardcore factions with the grind of ranking up in a prison, making a never before seen gamemode!. This game mode features 5 tiers of unique ranks in which players will struggle to rank through. Players will be able to raid each other’s bases as well as capture outposts(Koths) to gain boosts. Our goal is to keep an HCF vibe with PvP, but add a grinding aspect into the server with ranking up and a whole new enchanting system.
Layout
The server will be laid out on one 1.5k x 1.5k map. At the center of the map will be spawn, which will contain the shop, crates, information, tinkerer, etc. The next 200 blocks out will contain a pvp zone with custom terrain, koths at each quadrant, and a secret merchant who allows you to sell items for more than the regular shop! The next 100 blocks out will contain a mining zone that consists of custom terrain and random coal and lapis lazuli mines that you are able to mine. The rest of the map will be claimable land for your faction to keep your valuable goods safe.
Hardcore Factions
The most important thing to know about hardcore factions is that there is no teleporting at all except for /f home. Land will be claimable outside of the mining border for you and other factions to make a base and protect your goods. Players tend to build their bases near spawn in order to get their quicker. Factions will be limited to 10 players along with 1 ally. Factions can only go 'raidable' when they are sent to negative DTR (Deaths until Raidable) by having a certain amount of deaths in a certain amount of time. A faction with 5 players will have 4.5 DTR. If a player dies, 1 DTR will be taken and a DTR freeze will be set which means that you’re DTR will not regenerate for an hour. If another player dies, another DTR will be taken and the DTR freeze will reset. Once the hour is over, your faction will begin to regenerate DTR until your faction has the maximum amount of DTR allowed. You cannot build or destroy inside of faction land, nor shoot TNT to raid it. Instead, you kill members in an opposing faction to make them raidable, which allows blocks in their land to be broken and edited. TNT is not enabled like on standard Factions, therefore bases are tend to look pretty rather than durable.
Prison
The prison aspect of MineHeist is derived from CosmicPrisons. Unlike your typical prison server, MineHeist will not have mine warps for players. Instead players will be encouraged to mine throughout the world and even in a pvp mine near spawn as well as start farms in order to gain money. Every player will need to rankup through the following ranks: Tier 5, Tier 4, Tier 3, Tier 2, and Tier 1. The benefits of ranking up will be rank up rewards as well as the ability to use armor abilities such as bard, rogue, and miner that will benefit your faction.
Enchantment system
he Enchantment system is derived from Cosmic Prisons but we add our unique twist to the mix. Players can level up their tools with sweat which is gained by mining. For a player to upgrade their item, they will shift right-click with their pickaxe a pickaxe menu will open up. They will be given the option to either upgrade, add crystals or close the menu. Clicking the upgrade option will cause the item to be enchanted with a random enchant (10% Legendary, 30% Rare, 50% Common) or fail and not enchant the item for that level (10%). For example, if a player enchants a helmet and gets protection, it will be enchanted with protection 1. If the player enchants and gets protection again, it will be upgraded to protection 2. The next option will be crystals, each pickaxe will be defaulted to 1 crystal slot, but a max of 3 total can be added with special in-game items. Crystals can be added and removed in this menu. The last option is a close menu option.
Players can gain as many enchantments as they wish on their item(s). Sweat is only gained from mining or killing mobs. In order to enchant armor or other items, you’ll need to extract sweat from your pickaxe or sword and apply it to the desired item. If a player does not need his or her item anymore, they could give it to a tinkerer who will give them raw sweat in return.
Tinkerer
If a player does not need his or her item anymore, they could give it to a tinkerer who will give them sweat in return. An NPC that takes tools and armor in exchange for sweat. The amount of sweat the tinkerer will give will depend on the rarity of enchants on the items as well as the amount of sweat still on the items. The tinker will give back the item’s worth in sweat. Right clicking on the tinkerer will open up a gui. A player then will put the items they wish to be converted in to sweat into the gui and it will show how much sweat you will receive for the items.

- (C) Hunger I, II, III: Chance to restore a chicken leg, half a hunger bar, or full hunger bar while mining..
- (C) Banker I: Chance to receive money notes from mining
- (R) Sweat Collector I, II, III: Chance to get 1.25x more sweat per ore mined (10%, 25%, 50%)
- (R) Fortune I, II, III: Obtain more ore per block mined
- (R) Key Finder I, II, III: Have a chance to get a cratekey from mining
- (R) Smelter I, II: Chance to give mineral rather than the ore (5%, 10%)
- (L) Transfuse I, II, III: Chance to give you a higher tier ore than mined (Chance is increased with higher level. Ex: Mining iron ore will give you gold ore)(5%, 10%, 15%)
- (L) Lucky I: Chance to get crystals from mining
Swords: (Max Enchantments: 14)
- (C) Self Destruct I: Destroys item on death
- (C) Sharpness I, II, III, IV, V: Deals more damage to enemy
- (R) Sweat Collector I, II, III: Chance to get 1.25x more sweat per mob killed(10%, 20%, 40%)
- (R) Grinder I, II, III: Gives 1.25x, 1.5x, or 2x more drops
- (L) Microwave I, II: Works the same as fire aspect.
Armor: (Max Levels: 13)
- (C) Self Destruct I (Any Armor): Destroys piece if killed
- (C) Protection I, II, III, IV (Any Armor): Vanilla Protection
- (C) Saturation I (Full Set): Player never has to eat food
- (C) Spikes I, II, III(Any Armor): Same as thorns without the recoil
- (R) Lightweight I, II (Boots): Gives speed 1 or 2
- (L) Ninja I, II(Full Set): After a kill, the player receives speed for 3 or 5 seconds
Axe: (Max Levels: 19)
- (C) Self Destruct I: Destroys item on death
