I created a network that allows thousands of players to create "player servers" free of charge. Each player server is powered by spigot, has the ability to install from dozens of plugins, and lasts forever. Owners of servers get full /op permissions and can do whatever they want with the server.

IP: mc.minehut.com
Website (has more info): minehut.com

This server has become popular for build teams because of the ability to download your world at anytime. Simply click the download button from the in-game control panel to download your world :)

The system currently hosts nearly 40,000 total servers and is visited by thousands of players each week.

Please follow the short tutorial on minehut.com so you know what you are doing once you get in-game.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Nope, entirely developed by us over here at minehut. Much more advanced than the one you will find on spigot.

Some notable additions our system has:

1. World Downloading.
2. Ability to hold well over 5x the amount the spigot plugin can. We are able to run several dedicated servers that load balance the player servers dynamically so scaling isn't a problem. With the spigot plugin, you have to keep everything on one machine.
3. Our soon-to-be-released online control panel will really set us apart. Will have the ability to upload schematics and config a set of plugins.

It's also worth noting my original version of this, kingdoms, was released before that plugin was in existence :p

Luuke, didn't you make Prohost.gs?

I did :)

I learned a lot from the experience and was able to apply it to Minehut. If it weren't for prohost I would have never successfully made the multi-server-box system, which has been a core part of Minehut.
