I am a staff member on Mineplex. I can assure you that the players aren't fake. If they were, then my job would be a whole lot easier and Mineplex leadership wouldn't have to manage so many staff members.

The best way to become big quick, is to get a lot of good people on your team.
You'll never make it to the top running it all completely by yourself.

Get a mod for every 10 players, get an admin for every 25 players, get a dev when you find one that isn't talking out his ass.

For these guys, it's not like they come home from school and hop on and chat it up.
They wake up, go straight to the computer, and work there for 16hrs until they're tired, and then they repeat.

Most people their age would rather go out and enjoy life and have lots of friends, do exciting things, see new places, etc.

Some people would rather have no social life for their early years, but retire by age 30, and never have to work another day again.

I spend easily north of 50 hours per week working on my servers as well as maintaining a perfect GPA and the time ends up coming out of spending time with my friends and family.

I do not plan to retire by age 30, however, and I'm an entrepreneur partially because I have an excellent time learning and working to reach my personal and career goals.

I hope your joking, of course it's hard to own a network if you just started out. But Hypixel peaked over 1000 players the day they launched, and they didn't have any games either. Hypixel just hired developers and managers, but he really didn't do squat shit especially at this point.

lol, the owner of hypixel and mineplex and stuff dont just sit on their ass and get money all day. they have to work and pay the host and developers and stuff as well. well maybe they make some profit out of it but ill doubt that they would make alot out of it consider how much staff they got

Shitty account sellers on here that only come on this forum to sell their shit, should not have the right to say that it is easy to manage an extremely popular Minecraft server and that those server owners do nothing but sit on their ass all day. Ignorance is strong in this thread...

I exclude all server owners from this post, obviously. Especially drgn and Skill which have great servers.

So you think you have a bad server? There was no sarcasm in my post. A lot of users on here are ignorant towards servers and how hard it can be to work for them to be successful.

Thanks, and no I work really hard on my server, to get players and epic custom plugins to make it better and better. Same with drgn i'm sure that people like Newb can't see our effort and claim it to be "shit" when he can't even make a vanilla server.

The owners of Mineplex and Hypixel once had to work their asses off, losing a ton of money on the way, but in their current position right now, they earn a lot, however, they have to pay fees to keep their servers up, and their developers coding.
