Minespree is a returning mini-game network that was released and closed in the late summer of 2018. During the short-time Minespree was opened, we had a community of almost 200 players and concurrent player-base of 75-200 players. Minespree has closed due to the former administration team moving onto bigger projects such as designing software of the future. However, Minespree is returning, and better than ever. We currently have a staff team made up of community administrators, which we’re looking to expand. The server is hybrid minigames-factions, with a variety of both wholly original and stable games and custom Factions/Kingdoms system providing players with highly competitive and customizable Factions experience. Not only will we have a Java server, but we also plan on moving into Minecraft’s currently dominant market, Bedrock servers and Hytale. We now have multiple ‘in-house’ developers, programmers and model designers that have the skill-set needed to create the future of mini-games.
We're looking for experienced builders who have worked an impressive portfolio, professional and upbeat attitude. As a builder, you'll create maps and other builds for Minespree games, game modes, and lobbies, work with our existing build team to maintain high-caliber structures throughout our servers and use asynchronous WorldEdit and VoxelSniper to create high-quality maps. If interested in this position, we ask that you have a portfolio on hand for us to take a look at. Experience as a Minecraft server builder is preferred but not required.
We're also looking for Senior Builders, Minespree already has a team of three talented builders, with more hopefully signing on as we progress. To this end, we are looking for senior builders, essentially leaders of the build team who can assign projects to members of the build team, coordinate the build team application and map submission procedures, lead by example and assist builders with the creation of maps and other content, act as the community representative for the build team as a whole and Conduct and set the agenda for build team meetings (held via Discord).
All of our current positions are volunteers, and under our current budget, we are regrettably unable to provide payment for administrators and builders at this time. To compensate for this, however, we are happy to accommodate for your schedule--we'll make sure that your volunteer work doesn't interfere with your job, uni, or other real-world obligations. However, as our investments come in - this can change and payment may be offered. We're also willing to sign legal-binding documents that ensure pay when Minespree makes income.
