You're getting messaged by 3 different players both asking you to get them a moderator for a hacker. What would you do? I would go and try to catch the hacker myself or ill go and tell a Mod.

DeltaCloud - DeltaCloud was the biggest sever I worked on, with around 10 players a day. I was Helper but after a while promoted to Moderator. I was staff on this server for around 2 weeks.

AntiMC - AntiMC had around 7 players on the discord but failed to release as I couldn't afford funding the server. I was lucky to get that many players on the discord and I learnt how to start up a small forums and how to work alone and independently.

How much time can you spend a week on this project?: 7 hours

Are you able to communicate over voice?: Yes/No depending on what it is.

What made you decide to apply?: The thing that decided to make me apply is because I love the gamemode creative and I could help with it and I like factions depending on a mode I'm in but I'll play it anyway.

Anything you want to tell us about yourself?: I'm Jordan, a 16 year old boy who comes from the United Kingdom. I can spend 7 hours a day on it an I can spend more sometimes.

What sets you apart from other applicants? The thing that makes me different from other applicants is that I can spend a decent amount of time and I am able to moderate creative and I know the rules for it and the general rules for the whole server.

Experience on other servers: I was first moderator on a Kit PvP soup server called enderkitpvp.net (closed) after a while I became admin, then head admin on the server. Later in my career as a server admin I became one of the first admins on moku.us (a HCF server that is now closed). Shortly after that I was recruited as a T-Mod on BlockPvP.us (closed) which I soon worked my way up to being a head mod on that server. I know how to check for all of the hacks known to man (or at least the ones that are useful on any type of PvP server): Kill-Aura/Force-field, Anti KB, Xray, FastBow, SlowFall, AutoClicker, Auto-Sprint, AutoSoup, No-Clip, and Fly. I have a total of 6 years in moderating experience, 3 of which I was admin.

How much time can you spend a week on this project?: at least 25+ hrs i have so much extra time on my hands.

What made you decide to apply?: I am looking for a job on a successful server, which has staff that are friendly and knowledgable. I could bring a lot to this staff team due to my 3 years of experience of being a Admin plus 3 years as a mod as well.

Anything you want to tell us about yourself?: I am in college but have lots of free time late at night and early in the morning to play. All of my college classes are mid-day making helping out the server easy. I am an Eagle Scout irl, which has taught me life lessons on ho to socialize, speak in front of others without being awkward, and finally has allowed me to become a mature adult.

What sets you apart from other applicants? I quit Minecraft for 6 months, which included me selling my old account... This being the worst mistake I've ever made. Now I am 18 years old, i have been playing for a total of 6 years, I'm in college, and ready to pick up a new job on this server. I am very exited to play Minecraft again, and even more so, ready to take on any task, job, or challenge this server might throw at me. I am very good at "rolling with the punches", being professional, and am knowledgable when it comes to helping run a server. When thinking of Minecraft servers, I think of opportunity for players to have fun (with a hack free environment) and friendly, helpful staff. Some qualities that make me a good staff member are, maturity, efficiency, and knowledge.

So that said the first thing you should do is tell the 3 players to stop spamming. Next you should use the commands /v and /fly, to not be seen by the hacker, who might get tipped off that you're watching him. Finally, you can check for hacks, including: Kill-Aura/Force-field, Anti KB, Xray, FastBow, SlowFall, AutoClicker, Auto-Sprint, AutoSoup, No-Clip, and Fly, then ban/screen-share appropriately. If the reports are false, then defuse the situation between the accused hacker and the reporters.

Yes, indeed. I have a plenty experience of moderating on other servers. I was an administrator of 2 servers. I learnt many skills there, and learned how to communicate with the community while still handling jobs I had to complete as a staff member. I know most basic commands, and quite a few other more complicated commands. I learnt how to accept people as they are, how to be open to all questions and opinions from all different people. I certainly learned how to use my time efficiently, not to waste time and to make sure to answer all questions as possible. I know how to deal with toxic players and how to deal in those situations. I will never abuse my powers as a staff member. I hope to make this community better and safe to all the players as much as I can. I also was a moderator of a slightly smaller servers to large servers around 1 year ago. There I learnt to how screenshare, and how to punish with appropriate reasons, etc. I know how to use forums correctly. I see a lot of people breaking rules, being inappropriate in chat, etc. I believe I can keep the chat clean, and keep everyone under control. I can answer people's questions, and I can help out in general.

I am mainly applying for this role because I feel like the server can have another staff member active on the server for most of the day. I love to work with amazing communities and work to the best of my abilities to spend more time not only with the staff team but with the community. I devote all of my time to moderate the chat and make sure everything is okay. I would mainly watch the chat and answer the questions that are being asked in the chat. I have applied to help the community in a positive step, I will never betray the community that the staff team and the community have built from the ground up. I'm one to dedicate all of my time to make sure the server has no problems, spending my time in a community I enjoy is an amazing feeling to me. I will do my best to get rid of those "Bad Apples" in the community that makes the Minestar not liked. I can contribute to the Minestar staff team as I want to contribute more than I already am to this community. What would make a great community? Well in my mind a great community is filled with players who are helpful, kind-hearted, honest and overall just great people. For this to work as a community you will need a great staff team who are committed to the community and they make the server their main priority and that’s just what Minestar has. As soon as I joined the discord I could already see what the community and player-base would be like. That is one of the reasons why am I applying for staff today.

If you were to give me the chance of becoming a staff member I can ensure you that you will not regret it because I will be helpful to the community and I will make sure that I communicate with them. I try to be online and available as much as possible. I can be on for around minimum 4-7+ hours per day, because of the fact that it’s the holiday just now I can make sure that I am on for even longer than that even just in-game and then with the other hours on the forums I can contribute around 7+ hours for around 1 more month every single day. When that month is over that will not affect the guideline of my timing very much as I will still be on for around 4-7 hours per day, this will be the average time I will be online due to school.

I feel like I can help the community not in a positive way but in a more of a helpful way. I have seen some staff members in communities resign/demoted. I am the staff member that will never leave the community empty handed. I will never leave the server with no staff member on the servers to make sure people can get away with abusing bugs, hacking or such more. I am the type of individual to work really hard no matter what the task is. I will never disobey the rules and regulations that I am given of being a helper. I have many years of experience and would not like that to go down the drain. I will help the community and the staff team any way possible, by answering questions and following the server rules. will always do my best to support the server and its fantastic community along the way.

Minestar has a strong team of dedicated staff already and I would very much like to be apart of that. The first thing I will do is to reply to messages saying that they should report hacker to the staff team using the command /report playername reason. and I would suggest reporting them on forums aswell with solid proof for even better effects, after that I would answer the questions in the lobby.

What made you decide to apply?: I always look at the mc market forums and just look if there is anything interesting. Your post caught my eye.

Anything you want to tell us about yourself?: I am a small 14-year-old boy with big dreams. I am a front end web developer and I am learning to become a full stack web developer. I have gone through a rough time in my life where I was contemplating suicide, I had just myself, my friends were the main problem and my parents just didn't care about me. The only thing I had was knowing things were going to get better and I guess they are.

What sets you apart from other applicants? I am a nice guy. I will be loyal to everyone (not the bad people). I will follow everything asked and I will try my best. I have lots of time so I can be on most of the time.

If they don't they will be muted for a little bit. I /tp to the hacker in vanish of course and I watch his movements. He will probably be a pvp hacker because other people realized him. If I can get proof of him hacking (recording) I will then temp ban him depending on how severe the punishments are on your server.

Anything you want to tell us about yourself?: I am a small 14-year-old boy with big dreams. I am a front end web developer and I am learning to become a full stack web developer. I have gone through a rough time in my life where I was contemplating suicide, I had just myself, my friends were the main problem and my parents just didn't care about me. The only thing I had was knowing things were going to get better and I guess they are.

What sets you apart from other applicants? I am a nice guy. I will be loyal to everyone (not the bad people). I will follow everything asked and I will try my best. I have lots of time so I can be on most of the time.

Scenario: You're on a busy server as a Trial-Mod, questions are flying at you rapidly, you can just about keep up. You're getting massaged by 3 different players both asking you to get them a moderator for a hacker. What would you do? I /msg them asking them to stop. If they don't they will be muted for a little bit. I /tp to the hacker in vanish of course and I watch his movements. He will probably be a pvp hacker because other people realized him. If I can get proof of him hacking (recording) I will then temp ban him depending on how severe the punishments are on your server.
