Hello and welcome to the MineStyria Staff recruitment Thread here on MCM. We are currently, hiring some active and helpful staff to contribute to our staff team before we fully launch. We need staff who know how to code, develop, use plugins, and a bunch more!

You Might be wondering "What is Minestyria?" or "Why should I want to apply for this server?"
Well, I can explain both of those questions. First of all, Minestyria is a unique server that has Plot worlds, Survival RPG, Factions, KitBattle, Minigames, and tons more. My name is Lauryn, and I believe that it's always right to solve conflicts without fighting unless it is absolutely necessary. I also believe in treating all people equally no matter who they are. Maturity wise most people believe I am about 20-25 before I tell them my age. Personally I just like to play video games and get along with people.

Staff Experience: I've been staff on a factions server for 6 months as well as on a prison server for 1 month.

Time Commitment: (Per Week)14+ hours

What can you contribute: I can contribute a great attitude and the ability to get things done that need doing.

Technical experience: I have no experience with Deving or coding.

Anything Else: I am a builder mainly, I build large structures as well as do worldpainter so that might set me apart from other applicants. I can show you my portfolio if needed.

Minecraft Experience: I've been playing Minecraft as of early 2011. I first joined as a cracked user for the first year, and in 2012 I then bought Minecraft and received the full "Premium" experience. I've been working with many small to large servers for about 4 years and have compiled quite a bit of experience.

Minestyria Experience: (What game modes are you most active in on Minestyria?)
None as of yet. I plan on getting on a lot during this weekend though (School project going on)

Teamspeak / Mumble: (Do you/can you use Teamspeak / Mumble?)
I currently and can use TeamSpeak.

Recording: (Can you do any recording, and have you before?)
Yes, I can do recordings. I also have a YouTube channel (Not being used as of yet, but I seriously need to start recording on it, may start with this server). I can also use the recordings to prove I did not falsely ban someone, or to prove I am not doing something I am not supposed to.

Tutorials / FAQ's: (Can you write tutorials /.FAQs, and have you before?)
Yes I can, and although they may not be as detailed as others, it will surely tell the users a good amount of information about the specific gamemodes and what they offer.

Staff Experience:
Now for the good stuff. I've worked on many different Minecraft servers throughout my 5 years of playing. I've worked on countless of small servers (They die within a month or so typically), worked over at DrakonCraft (Owned by zDrakon) as a Developer/Owner, and an Administrator/Staff Coordinator at ViperHCF (Owned by Lurkers). I've received quite a lot of experience, and willing to spread my knowledge to other servers and support them as much as I can. I will guarantee you that I will do my best not to fail.

Time Commitment: (Per Week)
During school weeks I can commit about 3-6 hours of server time.
During weekends I can commit almost all day unless something comes up, or I am going on vacation.
During Summer vacation I can commit almost every day (and possible up till midnight) unless I get a small summer job.

What can you contribute:
I can contribute multiple things such as:
- Helping the community
- Helping the Staff team
- Making sure everything is going as it should
- Keeping a close eye out from any unwanted guests
- and making sure everyone is having a good time.

Now let me tell you a little story when I worked over at Viper: People would always yell at me saying "YOU FALSELY BANNED" or "YOU'RE ABUSING YOUR POWERS", when in reality I am not and they get banned since I banned their friend with solid evidence, and when I show them the evidence they remain quiet. Quite the story, huh?

Technical experience:
I am a beginner in Java development (Meaning I can possibly write a few small plugins for the server), I am really good at configuring plugins (about 3-4 years of experience), I am so-so working on Linux servers, and can optimize servers as much as I can.

Anything Else:
I am currently 16 years of age, attend high school, and love helping others. I am also easy to befriend meaning I can make friends with almost anyone willing to.
