Introducing MineSync, by nanocode.

A must have for Minecraft communities with a XenForo forum.

MineSync brings the gap between your Minecraft server and your XenForo forum closer, by integrating both very closely. With MineSync, you can have your players link their accounts together, sync ranks, show usernames, UUIDs and groups on posts and profiles as well as an extendible API to sync more data to your XenForo forum with ease.

Introduction
Have you ever wanted your ranks to be synced from your server to your forum? Have you ever wanted players to be able to link their server account with your forum? Have you wanted powerful MC integration into your website, with usernames, UUIDs, ranks and avatars? What about something like this:

(The extra group was added due to a group sync, as I had the in-game rank "extra" and it was set accordingly)

Database Changes
4 new tables added:
  • apms_groups
  • apms_keys
  • apms_pendinglinks
  • apms_pendingupdates

3 new columns added to xf_user:
  • apms_uuid
  • apms_username
  • apms_group

Queries
  • 0 overhead queries on pages

Purchasing
This add-on can be purchased by the automatic system on the nanocode products site.

Hi,

It's unfortunate, but we expected it. We could, ourselves, add licensing, callbacks and advanced obfuscation to help prevent this, but we don't want to slow down the add-on and plugin at all, or make it harder to use for developers who wish to build upon it and extend it to achieve great things.

It's not worth making it more difficult to use for our customers due to a select few who decide to use it illegally instead.

Yeah, it works with offline mode servers. There would be a few points to note, though:

  1. You should have some kind of authentication plugin to ensure the user logging in is X user.
  2. You shouldn't grant privileges on the forum in the sense of XF groups for any user that has any kind of moderation/administrative abilities, just in case your authentication plugin fails.

As long as you consider possible security impacts, then yeah it should be fine to use MineSync with an offline mode server.

Sorry for the late response.

Unfortunately, we can't share URLs of our client boards. There are a few larger servers using it so you might see it on some of the servers you play on. Perhaps someone from the community using the add-on can show you a link to a site using it.
