Essentials doesn't work for me. Just gives me
tons of errors, and it doesn't show up in my plugins,
but it does in my plugins folder. What do I do?:
I had this problem myself. Downloading from Wiki or Jenkins
might have this problem. What I did personally to resolve this
was download 'EssentialsX' which will have the same effect
in which Essentials has.
I downloaded GroupManager, and I tried making
a prefix. Why won't it work?
You most likely do not have EssentialsChat download which
you need for your chat to be updated. You can PM me and I will
send you this.
How do I get rid of the outside brackets in my
name? Ex: <iKryptonic: Hey>
Easy. Go into your FTP or Config Files, Look for
Essentials. Click it, go into config.yml, Go down and
search for Global Chat. Remove where it has the
brackets, save & do /essentials reload
I did /essentials refresh, but it
just broke my config file, what do I do?
You are supposed to know never to do /essentials
refresh. It refreshes everything, at a new start.
How come non-ops on my server
can't build? How can I fix this?
GroupManager: /mangaddp default essentials.build
PermissionsEX: /pex [group] add essentials.build
Where do I go to edit everything in
Essentials. Such as: Custom Join Message,
Nick ~, etc.
It's all in your config files in FTP or Server Config.
You can find this in your hosts multicraft. Some of you see
nicknames that go like: ~Nick. It gets annoying. You fix this
at the same place, and in '~' you get rid of it, making it ''.
