Well, Mixer.com (formerly Beam.pro) has got a lot of sudden recognition today from Ninja being partnered there to stream.

It's bound to be a huge platform now and I want to know what you all think of how the OG potential is going to be on there?

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

if only I still had my og @antivirus, which I gave away

Doesn't matter tho. I don't think everyone would move to Mixer since not everyone only watches Ninja.

True, I think a lot of streamers will follow him though. The front page has spiked in viewers even just today

Oh yeah, I'm not saying no one at all will not convert; but Twitch has been around longer than any other streaming service out there. I feel like the people who exclusively just watch Ninja will transition to the new sites and more loyal (that follow other streamers on Twitch) will convert, but by this conversion I feel like it's a total betrayal to his subscribers through Twitch's platform.

Gotta milk his younger audience though amirite!

Honestly, it's partially a dick move from Ninja because his fans are going to inevitably re-sub. BUT, It's a good thing for those of us who have OG accounts on Beam/Mixer because there will now be more of a market for them

Definitely on the market. To tell you the truth, as much as Twitch is a big company since it's a sub-company owned by Amazon, Mixer is owned by Microsoft in the same way and they're not really making that great in competition.

Part of me wonders why and makes me even wonder what their marketing is. This alone makes me question the value of the platform for viewers and streamers on the site.

For Streaming sites, I suppose the marketing is the streamers themselves
