My idea was something like discord’s online status, like if you’re on mobile, you can see that the user is on mobile, but still shows they’re online

Well, I know that when I’m on a phone, I’m not looking to do any sort of deals, but I am when I’m in my computer. Plus, I think it’d be a nice touch

Does it even matter? It's an extremely simple addition to add. Just check the User Agent string. Obviously, it can be faked, but, it's not mission critical, so it doesn't need to be 100% accurate.

As Justis said, there's simply no benefit to adding this. While some users may find it beneficial to see what sort of device another person is on, adding that sort of info anywhere on our site will just contribute to unnecessary clutter for something that might be used 0.001% of the time. Plus, custom development time should always be spent on the most important things, and even if we were gonna add this it'd never get done considering our queue.
