No hes talking about modded minecraft such as a "Dinosaur Mod" or a "Spongebob Mod". Also i've seen a good amount of "blackhat" activies such as PUBG and CS:GO hacks going up for sale.
Yeah, but I think there should be a stand-alone section for it because Other products is for in my option like vouchers and stuffThese are being sold in Other Products atm
Creating and selling mods is in no way illegal. Mojang even went out of their way in their TOS to allow it:By mods you mean stuff like modded clients?
I should probably inform you that I haven't seen grey or blackhat activities on MCM and I don't believe they will be. Modding Minecraft is often referenced to as Mod Clients, sadly that's actually quite illegal, so is the use of this.
I might be wrong or you might mean something else, I'm a bit old fashioned in regards to Minecraft.
Goodluck on your suggestion![]()
EXTENDED FUNCTIONALITY AND “MODS”
If you comply with and follow the Essential Requirements (in the Brand and Asset Usage Guidelines) and Naming Guidelines above YOU MAY distribute or make available plug-ins and other bits and pieces of extended functionality etc. that you create (together, "Mods") for free and without any charge, but not if the purpose of your Mod is to advertise or promote other products or services (see the section below on Building Promotions with Minecraft). By "Mods," we mean something original that you created that doesn't contain a substantial part of our copyrightable code or content. We have the final say on what constitutes a Mod and what doesn't. When you combine your Mod with the Minecraft software, we will call that combination a "Modded Version" of the Game. You MAY NOT distribute any Modded Versions of our Game or software, though you may distribute Mods. You may make money from Mods as described below in the section, "Servers and Hosting."

The first thing to say is that there are Essential Requirements that apply to all use of our Names, Brands, and Assets. If you are using any part of any Name, any of our Brands and /or any of our Assets, then what you are doing MUST:
These are the "Essential Requirements".
- NOT make people think that you or what you are doing is official; approved or endorsed by us; or associated or connected with us;
- NOT be unlawful, deceptive, obscene, harmful or disparaging;
- NOT take action that would harm or damage any of our Brands or any of our Assets;
- NOT include anything else around it that makes people think that you or what you are doing is official; approved or endorsed by us; or associated or connected with us;
- comply with the relevant Account Terms/EULA; and
- sufficiently differentiate the use of any Name you are using from any other branding.

I'm completely on board with the creation of a modding node.
Blackhat activity, however, as always, is not permitted on this site.
Yes obviously, Mick.If we introduce a forum for mods called 'Client Modifications' should we allow hacked clients in it?
I feel like if it is introduced the forum is going to be 90% hacked clients.Nobody is really going to post anything in here. I can't imagine what new mods are going to be introduced that people will actually use. Mods are dying out with the newer versions of minecraft as well.
Yeah it's a very slippery slope to add hacked clients in. On one hand yes it's essentially just a mod pack that gives players an unfair advantage on servers which in no way affects Mc-Market. On the other hand hacked client sellers are extremely shady and I feel like it would draw so many potential new scammers to the market.I feel like if it is introduced the forum is going to be 90% hacked clients.
Hacked clients are flooding other services and products.I feel like if it is introduced the forum is going to be 90% hacked clients.
Wouldn’t call it client modifications, that lends to hacked clients, not the mods he is referring to.[DOUBLEPOST=1561751826][/DOUBLEPOST]If we introduce a forum for mods called 'Client Modifications' should we allow hacked clients in it?
How are they shady? Most are straight up and super blunt. But shady, no.[DOUBLEPOST=1561751899][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeah it's a very slippery slope to add hacked clients in. Tell that to the Apex legend cheat thread you have pinned on your forum under other products.Blackhat activity, however, as always, is not permitted on this site.
