Mojang is Basically taking away Factions

So Mojang is Basically taking away factions since there is really no way to be a Factions server when You aren't pay to win. Unless its either Pay to Enter or the community and or the players are really nice

If you have an idea of how to make money following the EULA code and having factions, than tell me!

IMO, you could just add a XP system. And make so it that you can get server xp boosts. Or is someone buys a rank the whole server will get the xp boost the guy has. Spend 50-100$ on a custom xp system and you are just fine.

I maybe suggested where if I buy x2 Xp for an hour than it would go for the whole server.

Also maybe if I buy a Rank other people might have a deal or they might get something from it also

Well if you want a good xp system you should do this.

If X player buys a rank, player Y would get the same XP player X would get for e.g. mining an iron ore.

So let's say Player X mines 3 iron ores. Player Y would get the same amount of xp for 3 iron ores.

Let's say player X buys the rank. Gets a lot of cosmetics and stuff. But all he does is chatting he does not get any bonus exp. So neither does the server. This is fine for the EULA but still recommends people to buy a rank for themselves.

They ain't going to wait for a donator to mine 3 iron ores!! The bonus only applies when the donator is online.

Factions isn't being taken away, it will just change the server setups and how ranks are obtained. There are quite a few ways to make money still on factions, just there will be less money to be made and fewer faction servers.

So I edited my thread, someone told me that mojang is taking all faction servers down. Personally I was like WTF. So I now reasearched and found out it is just pay to win

I know that this thread has not been replied to in a couple days but I just thought I should reply. When people donate to a server they are doing it to Donate! The definition of donating is = give (money or goods) for a good cause, for example to a charity. There is nothing that says about giving something its return. I personally think that if players want to donate they should because they enjoy playing on the server and they want to see more features added and the server actually maintaining itself. That is just my opinion.
