How much would it cost for the machine below to be rented? I am looking to see if it is a worth while deal.

2x INTEL XEON 6 CORE E5-2640 2.5GHz
64gb DDR3
1x 500GB HDD

Just search similar server prices on the popular server providers, but the price won't matter if nobody is willing to rent it. Plus it only has a single spinning drive that most people won't want. If you won't make much for under $140/month after colo it would make more sense to sell it.

It really varies between providers, if you go with a budget provider you may be able to find something similar in the $120 price range, if you are looking for a premium provider it will likely cost around $150.
