I would just like to say I'm fed up with this bull shit, scammers need to be punished more. People even staff in this forum have this notion that nothing can be done, and nothing should be done to those who steal to profit them selves.

I think that that's absolute bull shit, and more should be done, and should me.

So basically what you're saying is that McM should expose people's private data when they scam? pretty sure that's against at least European law. And while it's unlikely a scammer will face juridical justice for their crimes unless they scammed thousands, leaking people's private data is literally against the law, and can result in MCM as a site being sued. It also goes against MCM's own ToS.
If you want to report someone to the police, get the police to request private info officially. Oh wait, they won't.

I used to work for SCEA (Sony), and I would talk to police(detectives) all the time about stolen consoles. There is a proper procedure to get personal information to the police, and that is handled by the police. You must FIRST file a report, then the police's legal department will file a subpoena to get the personal information from MCM. They will pass that info on to whoever has jurisdiction at that point.

It doesn't matter how much it is they're still breaking the law. It's like if you went down to your local dairy and stole $10 worth of drinks, you would still get punished via police if it was only $10.

However I do understand that MC-M has no reason to get involved in the law. Maybe if someone scames you, you get their information if you want to file a report or not idk?
