Basically you have to dedicate a lot of time to moderating and don't buy/sell much anymore.
I was a reddit mod on a few fairly large subreddits (10-30k subs) and I know how it can be. Also I think it's funny how people still think having fun/joking sometimes = immature and being serious all the time = mature.
