We are aiming to create the greatest and largest overhaul mod for Minecraft, bringing back the original feel and nostalgia of the classic Minecraft alpha experience.
We are looking for experienced Java developers, texture pack pixel artists, 3D modelers, animators, designers, builders, community managers, and just about anyone who wishes to take part in our passionate project!
Morrior is aiming to bring back the old-school Minecraft experience and difficulty while keeping up with modern standards and enhancing current features and content to bring the best possible and most unique game experience.
Currently planned features:
Biome overhaul - the mod will focus on exploration and adventuring. The current biomes will be upgraded and redesigned - including new mobs, cave systems, forests, structures, secrets and new challenges - awaken the explorer inside you!
Difficulty spike - if you're an early adopter of the game you most likely noticed that with time the game lost its difficulty and became more family-friendly - but we love challenges and rewarding experiences, and so we wish to spike up the difficulty and create a harder game that feels rewarding.
Reconstructed core - while we love the current Minecraft as well, we believe our ideas can create a better user experience. The core features of the game such as UI, combat systems, world generation and entity AI will be remade to provide a more balanced and deeply engaging experience for the players.
We offer you two ways to volunteer - you may either help out for free to give back to the community, or be paid for your work. While you may volunteer for free, if we see you're extremely passionate and helpful with the project we'd love to pay for your efforts - chosen participants will be paid according to their contributions.
