Most Active Authors

Hey,

I don't know honestly, I just find this weird and should somewhat be fixed.

If you click the Resource section you may see most active authors and it's getting filtered by the uploads. Now as you can see some people have massive builds packs and they are being filtered as most active resource authors.
I personally think to either make "most active builder(s)" authors and make filter exception for builds only and replace most active authors by filtering real resources and not builds. That's just my personal opinion, let me know what you think.

Or maybe make it based on updates too?

I used to be #1 but it's just a title at the bottom of the resources page, so does it even really matter?

I mean I personally think it's just stupid to make a resource section and then the leaderboard shows most active authors the builders who have 321372132 schematic packs...

Honestly, Facts B! Like if they weren't gonna make it work fine in the first place then don't make one but if you're gonna make one at least make it accurate.

I'm all for more flexible filtering options for all categories, but I'm against special exceptions for builds specifically.
Some builds take a short time to make, some configs take less, some plugins take less, some graphics take less.
I don't believe that a specific product being particularly popular among some authors within the resource section means they should be treated differently from the rest of the categories.

If exclusion options are made available for categories in the active author sorting, then it should be made optional and for every category.

I don't understand why releasing 100 builds shouldn't be considered to be 100 resources, and Justis summarised it all pretty well.

We have also redesigned our resources index page layout to remove the most active authors widget for the moment too.
