"Most reputation" in the members tab

Everyone likes positive reputation. But wouldn't it be nice if there would be a ranking for the players with the highest positive reputation count?

If you go to the Members tab you can find all sorts of rankings.
You can find a ranking for the most messages written, most reactions, most points and even most resources! Why shouldn't we add another tab with a ranking for the members with the most reputation in the community? I think they deserve as much attention as the other categories.

This would make people strive to act the way the community needs people to act because everyone would want to be on that list. People who deserve to be in this community should be rewarded!

This would be a nice feature to have to the leaderboards, but it should probably be called "Top Reputation" not "Most Reputable"... It has been proven time and time again that high rep members can scam at any time

I agree, I just thought it sounded nice with the other tabs "MOST reactions, MOST points, MOST messages"

even "Most Reputation" would be safer than "Most Reputable", that is like saying Most Trustworthy

Yep, didn't think it through. Im not a native english speaker either so I'm already happy you guys get the point. ^^

Well as a user of this community you're not allowed to have more than one account. So you'd have to ask others for positive reputation while for postings, reactions are all done by yourself and way easier to farm. And these are already in the rankings. + Asking for positive reputation is not allowed. So is farming reactions and posts.[DOUBLEPOST=1506047851][/DOUBLEPOST]

The biggest issue that was stated was it would be farmed.
My main question is isn't reputation already farmed?
I don't really think this would make that big of a difference considering:
1. False reputation gets removed at some point
2. People already try hard to get reputation.
And if the reputation is false does it matter? That just means they have done more successful deals which are good in my opinion.

I mean my biggest question is why does it exist for reactions and messages then? those are way easier to farm than reputation and are also in the rankings... You can't give yourself reputation but you can create countless of messages and reactions by yourself. And I agree, reputation is already being farmed.

Reputation should not be a competition. There's also more than enough false rep already, we don't need more.

Reactions and messages don't define how reputable a member is (this has been said more than enough times over this forum). Reputation is not something people do for fun, whereas posting is something people do for fun or because they are devoted. Unless we want it in the sidebar (which would look clunky) there's no way for us to do this I don't think, at least without custom development and this certainly wouldn't be a priority. This just seems like a change we'd add for the sake of it, not something that's actually going to improve the site in my opinion.
