My account got hacked and name got stolen

Hi , Someone scammed my account and changed the name of it.

so the name can be taken again after 30 days.


If this is the case, can i contact mojang for help and revert it somehow?

If you didn't get your account back as it's stolen, provide your TID on Mojang Support. And say it's stolen.
About the name, you have to wait for 30 days to have the name back as they don't give back the ign unless it's blocked by Mojang.
edit: for everyone, it's 30 days, for you the name should be available 1 day before as far I know.

So contacting mojang for reverting it or getting back the name will not help me to sort out the situation, right?


and everybody could snipe my name after 30 days just like me, right?

The name is available for you in 30 days, and for everyone else, it's available in 37 days.

yeah, available for you by the 30th day. Everyone else has to wait another week so 37 days. You got 7 days to claim it while nobody else can
