My computer is terrible at establishing connections?

So basically on my windows PC my internet works fine once the connection is established, e.g once I connect to a game server I am fine in game, but trying to load web pages, connect to steam is terrible at loading I can download things fine as well. I am getting into more business related stuff and not being able to use the internet properly on my windows PC is causing heaps of problems. Could someone experienced in computers help me with this? I will leave some info below if you need more just tell me in your reply.

Information.

My gaming computer is windows 10 and is connected via ethernet cable. The laptop I use for browsing the internet is a MacBook Air 11" works fine with the internet and can establish internet connections on the fly. I don't think it's the cable causing it though because I had the same problem with my windows laptop I used to have.


We have been using the same modem for as long as I can remember.

Firstly, is there anything you have downloaded which may be conflicting with the connections?

When did this start and, again, did it start around the same time you downloaded a program?

And also does the issue happen on any other computers?

This has been happening ever since I built the computer, I have reset multiple times.
This only happens on my pc.
