Alright, there's a lot of stuff to go through, I'll try to keep it concise. Proof can be provided for most claims, but a lot of this was in DMs, and I feel it's a bit scummy to leak private messages.
So I'm a relatively small Youtuber. 1.5k subs, no monetization, I don't record for money, etc. Just a hobby of mine. I used to play factions on my channel, and I really enjoyed it, as did my viewers (always has been one of the biggest series' on my channel). I wanted to get back into it, so roughly 2 months ago I set out to find a good server. Then, I found OPCraft. It seemed perfect; tons of staff, I met the YT requirements (somewhat), it had a good amount of players, and best of all, a new realm was releasing in just 2 days. I decided to start a series there, so I made my first episode, submitted a YT application, and waited. It was denied, as I didn't meet the view requirement. I was planning on just continuing my weekly uploads there, then ending the series after a month or two. It wasn't a big deal to me, I get my YT applications denied all the time.
Soon after my application was denied, I received a comment on one of my videos from the official OPCraft channel (which I can no longer find? Perhaps they've blocked me, or something like that.) requesting a Twitter DM so I could claim some rewards. I DM'ed them, and they told me that if I could get 2 videos out a week, they'd be able to give me YT rank. I said I would try my best, so I did; 2 videos a week, occasionally missing some but making up for it with extra uploads later. After this though, I received no reply from them on Discord, on Twitter, or in-game. I submitted a second application, and it didn't even receive a single view in twice the time that my original application was denied. This made me feel like they were ignoring me, but I decided to let it be. After all, it's just a rank.
Then, though, some other stuff happened, not all of it necessarily their fault. The server became increasingly toxic. And when I say toxic, I don't mean, like, casual "ur bad, l, sh*tter" and stuff along those lines. I mean stuff like the most popular players on the server spamming "DIRTY N***ERS" constantly for well over a minute, and only getting a WARN in return (when the rule is a minimum 20 minute mute). I had a blatant hacker in my faction; I told a staff member, and they just replied with "I'm not tping lol" and ignored me. Finally, to seal the deal, my faction was insided twice, possibly thrice, and raided. Insiding is not allowed on the server; however, we got no help to get our items back. We were fourth on f top, closing on the top 3 spots. As I had had enough of the server, couldn't salvage the rest of the season, and the other realm I played had gone from 100-200 players to just FOUR, I decided to quit. I detailed my reasons in this video.
Turns out, the owner didn't like that too much. He messaged me on discord afterwards, saying I lied about everything in the video, and that he was going to flag it down. He told me that the staff try to keep the server fun to play on, and I would know that if I only spent 5 minutes to read the rules (I've read them multiple times, by the way). I responded saying I read the rules, everything I said was either true or an opinion (aka can't be false or true), and that flagging my video isn't allowed according to Youtube (none of the flag options consist of "i disagree with this creator" lol). He didn't care though, and said he'd still be flagging the video. He told me to have a nice day, and I said the same.
But then that nice day was ruined, when within 5-10 minutes, he began dislike spamming me (or posted my video and asked for dislikes, or a combination of the two.). Keep in mind that this video had been up for 4 hours and got 7 likes and no dislikes, then within less than an hour garnered 7 dislikes. I called him out on Discord, then he made up some completely invalid excuse about how he "didn't even have his computer" (which isn't required to dislike videos) and that you can't dislike videos on multiple accounts on Youtube Mobile (... what? This guy runs a Youtube channel and doesn't know how one of the most basic function on the site works? alright). Basically though, he said he didn't do anything. Which I doubt. Highly.
Long story short, I quit a server for many reasons, owner (Julian) got mad and said they were lies, and said he'd false flag my video. It then got dislike spammed and possibly flagged. I'd personally suggest not to work with this server. I actually know many working with them (for example, I have a friend named RedstoneHomie that's just become a manager there, AeroMC and audimatic are producing content there, etc.). That's just my thoughts. If anyone's had a similar experience, feel free to put it below. Maybe I'm just overreacting to the situation, but I might as well put my experience here for anyone planning on working with them. Just take it into consideration, at least.
