Hello MCM, I would like to share my experience with StormMC with you, so that if you find their server, you know what's behind the scenes.
When I first joined their server, I noticed their layout wasn't the greatest. I was offered Admin I believe. I was changing their layout with their permission, making it better of course. One of the managers left the team because he was setting up a Discord bot, and one of the Owners kicked the bot. The manager was angry and left the Discord.
I then got promoted to Manager once again for about 2 days. I completed their entire forums page, their entire home page for their website, I completed their buycraft page and set up the commands that execute every time a made. I purchased web hosting for them (torchnode), I did their ranks on the actual server. I set up their IP for their server (play.stormmc.co). I also hired and fired lots of people.
From there I was demoted to Sr. Admin again. After that, I continued doing everything as normal, a little bit upset. I was always asked to use my card on their expenses, as they weren't old enough to own a credit card, or their parents didn't get them one. One of the owners sent me $10 to buy Tebex Premium, when he could've easily done that, at least that's what he said.
I just continued doing my job, doing everything for them as usual. I wake up to one of the owners basically yelling at one of our hosting providers to give them a "Client" tag on the hosting provider's Discord. The executives explained why that wouldn't be correct, and how it was right that I had the client tag, especially since I used my own money on their stuff.
Me and one of the owners brought it to direct messages, and he was asking for both of my custom bot's files. I said "why?" and he said, "fine then no". I knew what he was doing before he even asked, he was planning on taking my bot files, and running with them and firing me. He then proceeds to say "your demoted" I can provide a screenshot here actually. . Besides the point, he argues that since I shut down the web hosting that I was paying for, I scammed him.
I work for their Minecraft host, and I saw one of their tickets about them arguing to the CEO, about stupid things. Anyways, I managed to pull this screenshot from their ticket. . That wasn't the owner that I was talking about above, but still, they are very unprofessional.
Since I left, I have taken the web hosting down, the custom buycraft theme, and everything I did for them that was outside of the game. I do admit they worked on their map quite a bit, that's why I didn't destroy that. It was a premade map, which they customized and I didn't install it, so I didn't delete it.
Thank you for reading my post about my experience with StormMC, I hope you took something from this and learn that they just like to manipulate their staff and scam their players.
