I must say. This year has been awful but, after this past weekend, seeing what a small community is capable of, my faith in humanity has been restored.
A very close friend of mine got in an very bad vehicle accident and has been hospitalized since. Our local community has been able to raise over $30,000 using GoFundMe as well as selling stickers and silicone bracelets for his family to support him during this time.
Crazy how much can happen in such little time.
