Hello to everybody that may potentially view this thread. I appreciate you going out of your way to take interest into my introduction, makes me feel warm and fuzzy knowing somebody may potentially care.
My name is Shawn and I am currently 17 years old. ( Yes I know it's a very bland and typical way to start)
I live in California, USA. While some people across the States or even around the globe idolize the USA or even California in particular, I don't blame them. It used to be fantastic, having access to so many types of entertainment ranging from the beach to arcades or even restaurants all of which are close by. Hence "It used to be" which is past tense indicating it is no longer fantastic. Reason being as some may or may not have realized depending on whether or not you live under a rock is that USA is one of the leading countries of infected individuals as well as deaths due to COVID19 across the world. Due to that a lot of stores, places have been closed as well as people, most particularly my parents who are anxious and over cautious not allowing me to step foot unless it is necessary. So as of the current time I am typing out this introduction and time following it being done, I am stuck at home while it is summer break. ( Never thought the day would come where summer break is something I wouldn't be able to look forward to )
Well it is what it is, no point in continuing my rant. Some of my hobbies while being stuck at home is playing games( My saving grace from this hell ), doodling, and online shopping.
While there is much left to discuss about myself I have grown rather tired and will end my introduction here.
If you have read my makeshift of an introduction, give yourself a pat on the back as you have endured my semi sad, rant-like introduction. Hope you enjoyed.
NOTE: I hope everybody across this platform as well across the world is able to see better days as well as give my condolences to anybody who was a friend or a family member of somebody who has fallen victim to COVID19 or has fallen victim themselves.
