In my opinion, shorter intros are better than longer ones. People should have an idea of what to expect the video's about 1 min into the video. If you have a 20 second intro instead of a 5-10 second intro, that becomes really hard. Yeah, the animation looks cool and it's synced with the music, but it's a very generic intro. Everyone has intros like these. You have to make yourself stand out. You want people to remember your content and intro, so it has to be unique.
If you've already decided to use this intro and you're satisfied with it (which I assume you haven't because that's why you posted this... to get feedback and make changes), then I would at least get rid of the first 3 seconds of black screen. Make the music fade in faster at the start. If the first 5 seconds of your video don't get the audience's attention (i.e. generic intro) then they won't watch the whole thing.
