People that are way up in the industry are so overrated. Bill Gates is a money whore that will do anything and step over anyone's face to get his money and Steve Jobs was good and all, but he did not even program and people call him the god of all gods of technology.
This all depends on your point of view on the situation. As someone who develops stuff, I personally don't like it when others resell my work without my consent, especially when it's a plugin. This is very similar as it is software, and people were buying extreme amounts of accounts, which they do not own, and that the person did not have the rights to resell. I believe this was their only approach they could have taken and I honestly believe this is a good lesson that everyone can learn from. I know people lost a lot of money from this, but look who's to blame in the first place. This situation could have been avoided easily. There was a flaw in their system, and they needed to do something about it, there's no doubt they lost a lot of sales. I'm sure that anyone else in Mojang's position would have done the same thing.
He should do better things with his money...

Bill Gates stepped down from CEO a while ago... And honestly, he deserved what he has today.
I agree, but it doesn't make me any less angry at Mojang. I feel like that the locking of all of these accounts was just so unnecessary. Like, ok, if the original owner wants it back then cool, he will TID it back. If he doesn't give a fuck about a stupid lego game that he paid 5$ for back in 2009, then he wont and everyone can go about their business. The fact that they went out of their way to fuck us just makes me mad.
I mean it is nice and all. He does a lot of things for people with cancer, which I highly respect. He does a lot of things for education, I have AutoCAD and other softwares for free because of his foundation. However, he is not doing it out of his heart, he is doing it thinking about his pocket. I don't like hypocrites.He should do better things with his money...

Bill Gates was a lucky son a bitch. There is something called the concept of the 10,000 hour rule. He was one of the few wealthy kids that had access to a computer in the 1960's. He accomplished his 10,000 hours and from there it is history.
Most unmigrated accounts were purchased when the game was $26. Let's just say around 1/100 accounts are "unmigrated" or were purchased as unmigrated. Now, that's a 6 million dollar loss. The actual number is much greater than that, I'd go as far to estimate that number around 1/10. That's some HUGE profit loss.
Imagine 2.5 billion - 6 million lol[DOUBLEPOST=1456803215][/DOUBLEPOST]and now that they are making us quit and cause a huge amount of hate, that is an even larger profit loss.
Still, a lot can be done with that money such as advancements in Realms server hardware. 6 Million would be enough to employ 50 people at $120,000 a year.
Yes but they already have money for that...
They are not broke and trying to make money to pay for themselves like us server owners... They are trying to hog more money and kill the kids on here who are actually making barley enough money to keep their servers online.
I bet my lunch money that a number of mojang employees have never logged into a minecraft server in their entire lives

it seems by you post that you are young OP. All you have done is complain about the GUI of windows 8 and 10. have you used these OS's before? do you have any experience in the I.T industry? windows 8 and 10 are more than just the GUI. they run much smoother than 7 performance wise, they have better control on how your pc handles tasks and background services. There is a lot of good things that the newer OS does that windows 7 cant.
Since your rant is only about how the OS looks to you then i agree that i prefer 7 over the others, for looks only. but for everyday use i have windows 10 on my main rig and 7 on my laptop for multiple reasons that i am not going into here.

I actually have owned every version of windows since Windows ME!
Windows 8 and 10 have a very poor design.... You can say its better but I also have a huge crowd which is on my side.
again you are only talking about the GUI. and there is no side here. im not saying i dont agree with you. I said i prefer win7 GUI over the others as well. but there is more than just a GUI
The performance is no better... Its actually worse.
I remember when computers had even less than 1 GB (windows xp days) of ram and that was a lot... Now they have like 8 GB.
