It may be popular and I understand why, but in my opinion it requires absolutely no skill at all other than seeing who can repeatedly spam the left mouse button the fastest untill you or the person attacked dies. This is not at all my idea of fun.

It takes a lot more skill.

Depends on the pvp type. Usually there's quick using/switching of potions/mushroom soup and ender pearls involved.

Firstly, you need to be accurate with your hits, and use strategy. If you go full fighting with someone who has better stuff than you, you'll most likely lose. But, if you use strategy, such as running away and quickly turning around to hit, using crits and the environment to help you, there's a chance you could win.

You also need to be accurate, like I said. Just spamming left click won't help you unless you are actually hitting the person, using your different tools such as sword, bow, and fishing rod.
