I think your should be able to see your own threads in each category so that you don't need to scroll through them to find your own or goto your profile. I made a quick example to display this better.

Addendum to this excellent suggestion: Exempt threads marked as 'closed' from this. I have multiple threads in that section that I have no use for, and that would just clog things up, but most of those are marked 'closed'.

At the moment we aren't planning to do any more development for our site until we can migrate to XF2 since we'll have to rewrite everything then. Perhaps once we move to XF2 and have fixed all the bugs that come with that and have more time for some new development we can work on this, but for the moment this isn't something that we can justify the development for.
