MySQL Permissions Issues [Ranks gone on relog]

Was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue? Whenever I set a rank in console, then restart the server the players rank disappears and they are default again.

It's gotten to the point I'm about to pay someone to put the permissions back into a .yml and store them locally.

Are the ranks actually been entered into the database when you set them?

Just a note: Flat File Saving is fine. Probs faster to load tbh.

On a large network using ynl files is too much of a hassle, Mysql Is a lot better.

Yeahh I know, but if he's having this problem right now, it's safe to assume it's not a large network.
