Hey
So I have been learning Linux for a good year and a bit now. And for the first time ever, I am hosting my own SQL database of a separate VPS for my Minecraft Server. However, plugins can not connect to the databse.

The weird thing is. The Xenforo host (on the localhost) can connect using the ip address. Any help will be amazing!

Hello,

You need to allow external access to the database.
To do this you may need to bind MySQL to 0.0.0.0 instead of localhost and also grant access to your user for the external IP.
