Name Colour Title Customisation.

So, this should be an addon worth around 20$, and you can change your name colour to ANYTHING you want.
Idea, I don't know your opinion on it, there you go.

For graphic designers :
In color/colour overlay, or something like that, it would have a UI just like this with the addon :

As much as I'd like to have a unique color, I would find all the different colors on the site annoying.

The current limited system allows mick to make more money by releasing new colors/buying more colors instead of allowing a member to have all the colors for a set amount. If it doesnt increase dolla, then why do it.

This is a unique suggestion, and even though I like it - I feel as if its a bit too much. It would look a bit too odd, and of course an eyesore at that.

*If* this was sold, the price should be higher (Considering the fact someone can just buy this, and not buy any other shekel generating color) - and there would have to be a cooldown on how long a user can change his/her name color using this feature.

also mick would rather generate more shekels by only allowing a few colors kapap

Personally i would buy it. Though I would change my name colour to a red like Micks, since thats the colour that goes best with my name. I dont think Mick would be too keen on that idea.

This is just a bad idea overall. The forums would look so messy with this, and there would be no point in releasing new name colors.
Some colors, wouldn't fit with some themes, either.
This just too much work, for little reward.

Copyright doesn't come into it. I cant see Mick allowing members, to have staff name colours. Places like here:

And here:

Makes it easy to see if a staff member is in the shoutbox or online. If other people can set their name colour to the same, it would take that simplicity away.

Additionally there would always be those that will change their name colour to the exact colour of the background where their name is. Making it invisible, to anyone using that theme. Just because they can.

I guess the idea could work, if quite a few colour ranges where blacklisted. However overall it would be more effort than its worth. Might be easier for Mick to just add a few more name colours.

Offering custom colours is generally a bad idea for a few reasons which people have already listed above.
- It makes it so that we can't release new colours in the future or have any sort of charity colours and stuff
- Allows people to imitate staff, it isn't really possible to cut off people from using all red colours in that sort of system either.
- Would be extremely costly to develop I'd imagine, allowing people to use like millions of different colours.

If there's a particular colour you'd like to see us release, make a suggestion about it.
