Need a bit help about terraforming in MC

Hello guys.
I'm creating a skyblock spawn on my own and
I need some help on terraforming.
I want to build the bottom of the island (the peak).
Is there any ways easier than do it manually?

I've personally seen one builder before make the bottom of the island first by doing it face up then using worldedit to flip it over and working from there but there is probably better ways.

Yes but, I knew that way after I have built the island. Thank you.

You can use WE brushes to make the rough outline using 5x5 spheres and such for example.
