I need a host to run my custom network off of. I am picky when it comes to specs. I need..
  • Around 8 - 32 GB Ram
  • Ssd drives
  • 1 Gbps internet
  • All ports are open for use
  • MySQL database support
  • 100% Uptime (SLA)
  • Good reviews
  • Not too pricey, I can spend a decent amount.
Let me know if you have something to offer.

Psst. I also can purchase a server to bring home for my testing purposes. PM me with a quote and details.

At this point I am n
ot sure what your deal is. Plenary of hosts advertise it and are more then capable of actually providing 100% uptime and since our servers are located in Choopa datacenter maybe you should go hit up there live chat and explain to them that they shouldn’t offer this. Clearly since you know it better then them. Also there is a reason we changed it to SLA, anybody can provide a SLA and gurantee 100% within it.
Read the article.
You are, nicely said, a complete idiot if you believe anyone saying "100 % uptime"
Even tho your hosting provider says anything else. That's my catch. Stupid marketing, and you kids falls for it.

There's no "100% Uptime" when there's something behind it. The article explains it really good. It's all marketing :)

Please PM me on here or Discord (Kyle#5072) so we can discuss this further. I really don't understand you. Do you know the definition of SLA?

Thanks for the mention <3

Is TitanNodes any good?
Hello TreeMC, We currently have shared Minecraft hosting and dedicated servers.

About the dedicated server, there was a client who purchased it and decided to leave the machine since the client had VestaCP installed and didn't let any game servers to be connected correctly. So after trying to help that client, he decided to go back to shared hosting with his provider rather than a dedicated server. (It has a month left on it so I've decided to get a good use for it at the moment)

Hence the reason, I have a deal for you with the dedicated server. (It sadly doesn't have SSD)
I'd be happy to offer you the following :)
Intel Xeon E5-1630v3 4 cores /8 threads @ 3.8GHz
32GB DDR4 ECC 2133 MHz
SoftRaid 2x2TB SATA
250 Mbps speed

Instead of $71.99 USD/month, I can get it for you for $35.99/month (50% Discount for the first month) + $69.99/month afterward since you were interested in owning it again :)
It's already a major loss for us to have it running when there's no client using it at this moment.

Let me know if you're interested in another service

Stop offering 100% on your servers. Not even Microsoft offer this. Unless your "dedicated server" is hosted in a very high-end cloud, you wont be able to gurantee 100%......[DOUBLEPOST=1521191211][/DOUBLEPOST]
And same for you.
Please, never ever do business with a smaller host who advertises 100% uptime. This is not possible on dedicated servers unless its cloud-based (In most cases that will be a VPS). Like Microsoft Azure. But even that doesn't gurantee 100% uptime.

A good article about this:
http://chrislema.com/no-such-thing-100-uptime/
We can offer 100%, and many do such as Shockbyte.

I used to be a big deal on here but now irrelevant

Some don't hence, this requirement.
Anyone that offers a 100% SLA is lying. Skidhosts throw SLA digits around like there's no tomorrow.

Even large companies such as AWS and Google cloud don't offer 100% SLA's. What makes you think that a Skidhost can offer a 100% SLA whereas the largest cloud providers can't.

Bebosny, thats because where they rent their hardware says that. It's really childish to take that for good words. It's marketing, and they dont get it.

Do you know what SLA means? Also are you telling me what is in there Terms of Service is a lie . Quite frankly it is getting annoying that you are just bashing in other hosts for offering something you cannot provide, and in reality it is childish. Also I do not appreciate you questioning our intelligence. I already told you twice if you wish to argue about this further then please take it to a PM with us. Yet you continue to argue on other users post and try to get yourself attention.

I don't think you know what SLA means either; As far as I can tell you use RSNet for your hardware - as their SLA to you is dependent at a 99.9% (NOT 100% WHICH IS PHYSICALLY NOT POSSIBLE). Displayed here https://support.reliablesite.net/kb/a55/service-level-agreement.aspx as they state:

"ReliableSite extends this SLA to its direct clients only. ReliableSite is not liable for downtime caused by a reseller of its services."
"Acts of God, including weather, natural disaster, or any other disaster outside of the control of ReliableSite are not eligible for SLA credit."
"Scheduled maintenance of ReliableSite network is not eligible for any form of SLA credit."
"Any failure outside of the ReliableSite network itself, including bandwidth carrier outages, are not eligible for SLA credit."

These are simply not possible to provide coverage for and thus not making a 100% SLA even remotely possible to achieve.

Please do some research yourself before posting.

Just as another note we are not some skid host. We are a registered business entity in the State of Ohio.

There SLA is 100%? They extend it to us in which in turn we extend it to our clients. Which we then cover all other issues not covered by there SLA. Hence a SLA doesn’t mean you will get a guranteed 100% uptime. Typically it means you will get credited for anything less. Hence how SLAs work and how we make it possible.

What I mean by 100% SLA:
It's technically not 100% uptime. If the server had under 100% uptime at any given moment, I am covered by their SLA whether it be free days of service, etc.

You can't really promise 100% uptime, ie. A tornado can strike the data center at any moment, therefore, not allowing you to promise 100% uptime.

It's basically this sort of scenario. You must provide me 100% of uptime during my term or else, you need to provide me some sort of compensation for the downtime.

Shockbyte would be the best bet then; https://shockbyte.com/service-level-agreement

And well with in your price.

Has nothing to do if you are a skid host or not. Hosts like OVH (Which I see as one of the largest providers on the market) does not even provide that.
Whatever you say, its never 100% if there's anything behind it. I dont question your company, I question your knowledge.
