We only use 2 nodes that are based on Contabo VPS just like other providers on here that use the same provider for their services.
For our US nodes we only use dedicated hardware. Just like most servers in Germany.

You first got to our old server with a trash CPU that we used when starting out.
This server now gets used as a dedicated server to serve MySQL requests (also called "EU1" or "MySQL 1").
You then got to one of our VPS nodes and then spread the word, however, as our nodes are not overfilled, there is barely zero difference between a regular host using OVH dedicated servers.
Feel free to test our Los Angeles/Dallas (soon) location or our oncoming VPS offers.
Vouch, I've seen Zare's Data center (who there using) in person and can guarantee that if you use dragonnode there will be no issues(connection, DDoS protection, server hardware etc).
