Just looking for a quote for a service team bot, similar to Senior Team's and others like it.

Please note that I am not looking to have this made any time soon, just enquiring about how much it would cost for now.

Thanks,

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Got a link or a bit more description to go off of? I'm new-ish to this specific Marketplace (usually free-lance elsewhere) but I'm curious to know more :)

Edit: I misunderstood, I know what you mean now & feel free to DM on Discord fallen#9745 to discuss or send a DM.

Edit: Called out LOL

Not sure of all the features myself, hoping someone who has experience with these bots can give me some insight :)

Probably $100 or higher from most bot developers.

Yeah, honestly it depends on the features. Going off the help menu in Senior's bot, it would probably be somewhere in the 80-150 range, but honestly, I couldn't tell you more without the specifics planned out.

I edited my original post out because I'm hesitant on taking up such a large project (if you're serious and interested feel free to contact me @ fallen#9745, this sounds incredibly fun to do) but the cost will depend on, other than the specifics of the bot:

a) How quickly you want this project completed
b) Your budget
c) The versatility of it. Programming it to be fully configurable vs. to do a job and that's that (or something in between) would all affect the time and therefore the cost.

Since I can't help but plug myself, I can assure you that when I do work I'm a bit anal about it, and I don't really settle for less than perfect, but if you're looking for a rushed job it would obviously be cheaper if you go to a person that specializes in rushed jobs, and/or copy-pasted code from one bot to the next. Not that that's a bad thing, if someone copy-pastes their own code that's completely valid, it's just a factor to consider.

Honestly, I want to do a lot of the features I see in Senior Bot for my own sake, so thanks for bringing them to my attention because chances are I now will do them myself, but yeah. I hope I helped in some way, and if you're looking for more than a quote, you know where to find me.

Thanks for the insight, I would probably be looking for something configurable as I can make any changes needed then.
No budget at the moment and not anything urgent, more just looking to see how much I'll ne aside for the whole project if I was to go through with this.

Makes sense, and sounds good.

Personally more info is needed. If you want configurable, then a config file for different aspects is needed definitely. I would say that once you get a fully fleshed out documentation of all the commands you want, how they will work, the intended purpose, how you want data store(MySQL database etc), then start selecting a limited amount of people to send that document to for them to go over.

If I was doing it, depending upon the features I would most likely say $100+, I'd also use a trello to document the process so you can see progress on the bot. Again, reach out to a select few developers about the project once you have your documentation.

Thanks, will make sure to take this into account :)

I'll make a thread to gather the features that people feel are most important for a freelancer bot

Senior Team's bot is much larger than you think. I was a Commission Manager there and had great insight on all the inner workings of Senior Team and their bot.

Their bot doesn't just handle stuff in the service team guild, it handles freelancers, balances, all tickets etc. There's more that goes in the background than in the foreground.

For a bot like this, coded by a professional, you'll be looking around $500 easily. The cheaper prices are from people who usually throw things together OR do not know what the Senior Team bot actually has.

However, if you're just looking for that service team style and using the Senior Team bot as a reference, I'd say $150 is the right price to be looking at for having a featureful yet not too expensive bot.
