Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could inform me a little bit about exit scamming and how it works. I have seen this term used a few times on the site and haven't known what it means. So, that is why I came here to learn a little bit about it. I feel that it is best to know as much as possible about scamming and the different ways people can scam so that you can avoid it.

Thanks for the advice and information guys!

Ah, its like an "exit" scam because they don't care anymore and just accept that they will be leaving the community after the scam.

Thanks Serendity!

Basically when people in a community with a high reputation scam a bunch of people before leaving the community. The most common ways I've seen people do it here is ask for loans with a large payback and then never return them and/or sell accounts and pull them back with the TID.

My advice to avoid any scamming in general is if something looks too good to be true, it probably is so be wary.
