Hey there, so I am looking to upgrade the main parts of my PC (Motherboard, Graphics Card, and Processor)

If you are able to give me a hand I am not looking to spend more than 300$ for all of it.

I have been looking at the AMD Ryzen 1700x and the AMD Ryzen 1600x (They are around 150$ right now for either of the two).

Not sure if one is better than the other or not since they are the same price. My main issue is idk what motherboard is compatible with it. I wanted an MSI or gigabyte one but they are not compatible I guess?

As for the graphics card I am looking to run Minecraft, Fortnite, CSGO etc.. on decent graphics. I am not sure if I am just looking in the wrong area or what but I am in need of this all to be under 300$ give or take. I have a hard time finding good stuff for cheap so I figured someone else might have an idea for me.

Try pcpartpicker.com
I know, I use them for everything, however I am having a hard time with the compatibility of it all, as well as keeping it under 300.

save up. 300$ gets u an ok gpu and nothing else
Eh, I need a new of everything. My GPU now is no longer sold anywhere on the internet, it's from 2012, and my processor is not far behind. And the motherboard that I have is a 30$ Asus one. Not to mention, the motherboard that I have no is unable to connect to any new GPU's and processors.[DOUBLEPOST=1542671921][/DOUBLEPOST]This is what I have in my PC as of right now.

Get a Ryzen 7 1700x. It's better than a 1600x. And type in Amazon "AM4 motherboard". This is the chipset that Ryzen uses. As Dark said, new RAM would be needed. Because of the NVidia 2000 series coming out, you can get a good offer for a GTX1070 for a reasonable price nowadays on eBay which you should definitely look into. You should invest into some DDR4-3000Mhz memory as well (I recommend 8gb then upgrading over time).

For clarification, your AM3 motherboard chipset is not compatible with a new Ryzen CPU. Therefore, memory, motherboard and CPU would have to be replaced.

EDIT: sorry, I just realised your budget of $300.

CPU = $150
RAM = $100 (approximately)
Motherboard = $80

No money left for GPU.
