So it is $1425 including the monitor, I replaced the GTX 1600 with the GTX 1070, which will be a good improvement, and also swapped the Intel CPU for Ryzen, because for games like Minecraft more cores is good, and editing and recording videos will be much better with the Ryzen CPU.
Where in Europe? Just find a micro center near by or order off the German amazon? Or maybe there is a website in your country that ships parts. Just make sure not to order from America, and just from Europe.Alright thank you! I will order the parts soon and begin building my desktop. BTW, do I need to order any extra wires for anything? (I I live in Europe).
I live in Switzerland, there are many stores that I am sure I will be able to buy the parts from.Where in Europe? Just find a micro center near by or order off the German amazon? But if you want to just use Ivan's build, you can still use this monitor.
Eh, future proofing is always good isn't it. And I did consider getting a different monitor due to FreeSync, but had to go so couldn't research well. And regarding dropping the 1070, if he ever did decide to play GPU intensive games it would be better to keep the 1070 since he isn't all that experienced and upgrading can be a bitch sometimes. Anyways, wouldn't adding more ram just be overkill for his request? 16 GB is more than enough, you could get higher speed ram, but for now this is fine I think.A GTX 1070? Seriously? The performance from a GTX 1070 isn't necessary for his request.
Ryzen is happier with higher frequency RAM. Drop the 1070 and get better RAM. That monitor btw is FreeSync. Nog G sync. FreeSync is used for AMD graphics cards like Radeon.
Besides, that no complaints. But 1600 is a budget far above the requirements you need.
Something tells me you and I aren't on the same page. Perhaps the fact that you misunderstood what I mentioned. I'll dismiss the excuse you made on the monitor. The GTX 1060 can play whatever game he likes for the next couple of years at a perfect performance rate. Tested hundreds of computers with 1060's and 1070's on modern day games. From my actual and real life experience, I can conclude that a 1060 is fine. Even for the mythical ''future proofing''. He can keep a 1017 in his setup. Wouldn't change a thing. It would just save him money where he doesn't need to spend it. Here is where miscommunication comes into play. I did not encourage or mention that 16GB wasn't enough. I stated that Ryzen processors take advantage of higher frequency RAM. 16GB is more than enough. Hey, something we agree on, did not expect that to happen.Eh, future proofing is always good isn't it.
