Hello.

Oke so, many of you know that I've been chargebacked on €126,98 on november 21 due to a scammer. The paypal has been in the negative (-54,92 EUR*) since then. I thought that, if I just create a different paypal I won't need to worry about the negative balance. I've talked to some friends and they all told me don't worry about it, paypal won't do shit. So today, my mother received a letter from some weird bank/money claim service, stating that I have depths to pay, €54,92 EURO from a negative saldo on Paypal. If I don't pay it within 15 days they will take "other" actions, I don't know how to word it. I felt so shitty, because I need to pay a big amount of money out of my own pocket, for something I didn't do. Does anyone have advice? What can I do? Because this is money that I worked for real hard.

Also, please no hate on this thread lol. Keep it for yourself, no need for it. If you can't help, then don't comment.

Honestly, get a job. I love MCM, but it's not really the best way to make money. The top earners that I've seen make like 1k a year, and I'm 15 and have a job that makes more than that (it's after hours). Just get a job and you'll be able to pay this off and get what you want.

First thing that would come to mind is court but I doubt PayPal would sue over 50 pounds.

Sell your stuff, do lawn work, wash cars, do chores etc.

If you're in debt and any of your personal information is linked like SSN, your credit score can go down. Better pay it up :p

What do you do? Like on MC-Market ? It’s a possibility, but I might be able to loan you the amount for a little bit with no ROI depending on my mood.[DOUBLEPOST=1515430120][/DOUBLEPOST]
I’ve been there, been over -$400 in PayPal- had to call a kids dad to get my manager payments for those 2 weeks.
Yeah my friend also told me he had several accounts that are in the negative, with his real adres.

Sounds fake as fuck.

Your bank has no authority to send some sort of claim cause you're negative on PayPal as PayPal is its own bank (Online "Bank"). If you're negative there for a long period of time, PayPal will send a letter to your house requesting the money. I am also pretty sure PayPal has some sort of stamp/identification showing its them on the letter.

Assuming your bank has money and isnt negative, this is either completely BS, or you received a warning letter from PayPal assuming you put in your correct home address when you signed up for PayPal.

I can't get a job yet, need to wait a couple of months more. But I guess I'll just pay it whenever my money arrives, transfered from paypal to bank. This really sucks.[DOUBLEPOST=1515431286][/DOUBLEPOST]

It wasn't connected to my bank. You actually want a fucking picture of the letter I got?[DOUBLEPOST=1515431334][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hm, why don't you do the most obvious thing such as actually letting PayPal/the 'weird bank' know about the whole incident via an informative message so they have an understanding of your position rather than relying on people who probably do not have any experience with the matter; but then again, this is a mistake and risk you have taken so this might not be the case. That all being said, the only reasonable option you have is to pay up the initial debt.
I could do, but the thing is, I already explained it to paypal the same day it happened. They said it is my own fault. Because the payment wasn't send as G&S, I don't have seller protection or something. I'm uploading proof, second.[DOUBLEPOST=1515431688][/DOUBLEPOST] Oke so here is the letter I got today in the mail. If you can see ANY personal/sensitive information please let me know. Yeah I'm a graphic designer. I have the money to pay it, but I first want to figure out if I can resolve this instead of giving away 2/3 of the money I worked hard for. Thanks for the offer though.

Pretty harsh, just make sure to keep in mind that you should use middlemans in the future (there are several on here which are trustworthy & free) in case you don't feel confident with large transactions like these.
Yes yes I know, I'm familiar. But this is a complex situation. If you want to know the full details checkout this thread: https://www.mc-market.org/threads/267458/[DOUBLEPOST=1515438512][/DOUBLEPOST]
