need help with cooldown

hello i am dowing a gkit skript for my server now is the problem i cant seem to get a cooldown i have tried to use cooldown plugins the simply dont whant to work

here is my skript:
command /gkit:
permission: gkit.use
trigger:
open chest with 1 row named "&e&lGkits" to player
wait 1 tick
format slot 3 of player with green stained glass pane named "&a&lGrinder" to close then run [make player execute command "grind"]
format slot 4 of player with green stained glass pane named "&b&lAqua Master" to close then run "/master"
format slot 5 of player with green stained glass pane named "&6&lMinor Guardian" to close then run "/minor"

give player 1 diamond sword of sharpness 4 and looting 3 and unbreaking 3 named "&a&LGrinder" with lore "&6Inquisitive IV"

Everyone starts somewhere. He's still learning skript. To be honset what hes doing isn't a bad idea for starters. Start simple and move to harder. If you jump to java instantly it could get confusing with the spacing, packages, etc.

Skript is simpilar. We don't know if he ever wants to move to Java or what hes doing. He might just be doing skript to learn and move on and stop coding afterwords. It doesnt seem like he will end up selling it. I think hes just making skripts for his personal servers fast to just get the server out. I would recommend java first but it depends on who the person is and if they like to start easy-hard.

yes that all true and i now alot of skript but the thing is i just dont now how to do cooldowns and i tied java already and i could not neven make a plugin say hello world LOL

Making skript plugins is a waste of your time, you are better off to put the hours in to learn java.

don't use format slot, use set slot or TuSKe's Gui manager, format slot is broken.

K well people like you spend money like it aint shit. I like keeping saving up my money. Yeah 40$ isn't shit compared to what we have but still money is money if I wanted to spend all my money saved up for Ecliptical it can be gone in a hour or less. Don't take this harsh in anyway.
