My PayPal account is sorta limited because I almost reached the limit on how much money I can receive per year, now I need to confirm my "identity". I must give them my address, phone number, credit card & birthday information.

Now here's the problem, I am 16 years old, so I must give them a fake date, however if I type in my credit card information, will PayPal be able to find out how old I really am?

The other thing is that I randomly lost 100 USD (I still had it before it got limited), once this is covered will I be able to receive my money back?

What should I do?

I'm just going to tag a few people who might be able to help me.

Don't give your identity they will block your account. If your account is disabled you won't be able to use the registered email ever again on paypal(i have experience with this sadly). i think there is no way out of this paypal is really strict in these situations.

I had this happen to me by another company, I ended up getting suspended with them because I couldn't provide an id from the government. What I would do is get your parents to call up PayPal and say that it's their account.

If an account is limited, it's best to wait until you're 18. Only two more years left :p.

However, what you can do is call PayPal that you're simply not 18 or over. Then they will lock your account and send over the money to your debit card.

Well, it's a lot more complex than PayPal having some senseless policy. In order to comply with US law, they have to verify info, and since your signature means nothing, you can't hold an account under 18. Your best best, is to start by having your parents set up a student account for you. Your parents can verify all of their info, and then call up PayPal to have it set up. Then, you call them with your limited account, and explain how you are under 18, but have a new student account set up, and politely ask for the funds to be transferred to it. Be as polite as possible. Then you can use the student account to send and receive money. Plus it gives you a debit card to use irl. Hope this helps! :)
There's no way I will be able to explain my parents how I made this money. However, as I am still able to send and receive money I will probably just transfer it to bitcoin, the only thing is that I will loose 100$.

Thanks a lot though, this definitely helped :)

limited, however, the only limitation is that I cannot delete my paypal account.

I got 1 year to identify my account.

I had this issue one month ago, it happend because I contacted them for making a business account, and then they said that I must close it.
So I just closed the dispute/request, and they never contacted me again.
I know it's sounds weird, but that's how it was.
