Dear everyone,

We are owning an SMP server.
We've been opening again for a few days after many on/off moments, and prior a longer period offline.
I am seeking for advice / quick evaluation for free,

Hi! My name is Mewb, I'm an experienced Minecraft Owner and Manager.

I had time to take take a look at your server and here is an in depth review, keep in mind you didnt explain the vibe or rules of your this is just my personal evaluation based on what I can see:

OVERALL GAMEPLAY

gameplay is average, that's not to say your server is bad, just bland. There is no real content besides near vanilla survival and enhanced gameplay tweaks like the level based mobs. I audibly groaned after about 20 minutes of struggling to defend myself from mobs and making little to no progress. That's about it man, its boring. A lot of anticipation only to be met with "coming soon" or "out of order" messages. I'm interested in why you decided to release with such major features missing. it makes for a very lackluster experience.

BUGS
Voting doesn't work: I tried every vote site and did not receive any of the rewards. There are also "Test" Votes still in the gui.

Poorly Implemented Tweaks: I'm assuming you're going for a more hardcore experience, as evident in the leveled mobs, and the fact that they survive in the daytime. However, these mobs have a very high per chunk spawn right, meaning that I'm constantly fighting off massive hordes of mobs. Which gets annoying when exploring. I say annoying and not challenging because the 1.8 pvp mechanics makes it possible to spam click and kill mobs in very rapid succession (which takes away from the aspect of leveled mobs, since players spam a build like Strength 3 and KB 2).

Spawn feature don't work, or are out of order: Firstly, Your spawn is nice, but there is quite alot of unused and simply empty space with little to no direction besides general area signs. The way you've places signs indicating something is not operating or brokens seems very, for lack of a better word, tacky, and poorly planned.

Player Graves: While graves is a great way to protect player items on a more cozy and peaceful smp, I do not see this feature working well in the long run, paired with the persistent Mob AI, It was almost impossible to recover my items without repeatedly dying to the same mobs, instead having to wait out a mob clear. Also the graves spawn TWO armor stand models on top of each other, making the hitboxes very hard to click, this effect multiplies each time you die.

PERSONAL GRIPES

Weird crate layout: Your crates are spread out into two different areas, with the holograms directly INFRONT of the crates

Excessive ranks: theres are 8 ranks plus a rank upgrade for the most expensive, which seems a bit excessive, and it agressively promotes buying the best rank
