Need some help with forums

so basically I'm thinking of creating a forums mainly for a guild. So basically it will have like an area to apply for the guild, an area for general discussion etc. so I'm just wondering what a good forums thing is kinda like xenforo. I would use xenforo but it's 2 expensive so yea kinda looking for cheap or free.
