Need some help with image hosting

Hello, I would like to create a private image hosting for myself and to use it for myself to post images. But it seems that Google can't really help me with it.

I'm thinking if any of you guys can help me with this? I have a domain of my own, now just need some help or guide to have an image hosting for myself.

Like, do I need a vps(if so which one is the cheapest and reliable one?).
