Hey so, with the title I want to start streaming and all that shit

I was thinking of upgrading my PC but kinda I can't afford a $1000 PC, however I planned on ONLY UPGRADING PARTS, that may help me.

GTX 960 4GB
Intel Core i5 2400
500GB Western Digital Hard Disk
2x 4GB (8G:cool: 3000Mhz RAM
Windows 10

GTX 1660/1660 TI 6GB
AMD RYZEN 5 3600/3600X
RGB RAM CARDS, LED LIGHTS IN PC, GOOD CASE.

My budget is $330, I can only get either one item, or you can post your setups for streaming and others under $600.

DO NOT COMMENT IF YOUR COMMENT IS NOT HELPING ME I WILL REPORT IT.
YOUR COMMENT WILL NOT CHANGE MY BUDGET.

I dont have actual hands-on experience with this hardware but I would do:
Ryzen 3600 - $200
Decent AM4 mobo - $100
Basic RAM 2x4GB - $50 (Preferably identical to the kind you already have to make sure it plays well with what you already have - to get a total of 16GB )

I also found this video while doing some research:

Graphics there look pretty decent while keeping at least 60FPS
The i7 2600 is a cpu of the same generation and uses the same socket as your i5 2400, this means you would likely not need to upgrade your mobo and it can be found at ebay for $50 and the rest could be spent on RAM and a GPU. For future proofing I have no idea how this cpu would work, but it seems it can handle something like a GTX 1660ti with minor bottlenecks.

My experience with HDDs have been relatively negative; pick up a 500 SSD. It will help you a LOT. You definitely want to get a better graphics card. Make sure the GPU you get has sufficient VRAM. 2x4 GB of RAM is perfectly fine (IMO) for streaming.

What games are you planning on streaming?

I agree that an SSD would be optimal as it makes Windows boot way faster and could improve loading times by a bit in some games.
It is however not something I think would be required as performance in game would not be impacted that much (if at all).

This is what my current System gives me on a stream.

0.5% dropped frames, 1 and a half hours into the screen, Minecraft running with a shit ton of mods built into Badlion. 1080p streaming, 8.7 CPU usuage giving 60 FPS.

This is all on my current build so it also confuses me a bit on upgrading or not.[DOUBLEPOST=1571527650][/DOUBLEPOST]

Minecraft, GTA V, Fortnite, Pubg, and other games like Battlefield or some multiplayer one like Fifa.

For Fortnite, Minecraft, Fifa, and even maybe GTA V, you should be pretty set. PUBG and Battlefield are definitely higher end games in terms of graphics. GPUs I recommend are the RX 500 series and GTX 10 series (1660/1660 Ti included). They are within your budget.
