High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

An i5-6400 wouldn't be much of an upgrade (about 10% or so, see https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-6400-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100/3512vs3511 ). A SATA SSD, or if your motherboard supports it, an M.2 nVME SSD would make a lot of things significantly faster. Also, for some reason Speccy doesn't show RAM clock speeds accurately for some or most DDR4 modules, so your RAM may be fine. Do you know how fast your RAM is? If not, you can go into the BIOS and check there or download another program that will accurately show your RAM speeds.

So a run down...
IF you upgrade your CPU, get an i7-6700 or i7-6700k, an i5 won't be too much of a performance boost.
Add an SSD of some sort (whether it be SATA or m.2 nVME) and move your OS to that.
Upgrade RAM from 8GB to 16GB.

If you can't do all of this right now (yes, it's expensive), this is the order I would get things
1.) SSD
2.) RAM
3.) CPU

Good luck! And if someone wants to critique me, go ahead, this is just my personal opinion on what I would do.

EDIT: If you do get another stick of RAM, make sure it's the same brand and model. Different models/brands may work together, but better safe than sorry!

Basically make sure they are compatible with your motherboard.
