Don't want to make a living. Just want to make some money, nothing big.Money isn't just going to come like nothing. To make money you need to invest money. But it takes time, patience, failure and consistency.
There's many ways to invest, I hope you don't expect to make a living off of these forums as it just won't work.
Currently learning plugin development.I mean the best way in my opinion is to just learn something. There are tons of tutorials on how to learn how to code, develop, make gfx, etc. I personally used a 1 hour intro to python video, and can actually do some decent work with python (not quite good enough to sell my work to anyone, but you get the point).
I'm pretty good at discord setups which isn't hard, but then everything else I could possibly do there's always someone better.Do you have a specific skill set?
I don’t want to make a fortune. Just want to make a bit of money that will allow me to spend it here. I want to make money that I’ll spend here, because the money I don’t make here I save for other things.Don't try and make your fortune on a MC- Forum, I have been doing this for ages now and made probably $1000 over 4 years. I applied and got a part-time job and in the first month (not finished the month yet) I will have made over £300 ($363)
Management / Freelancing (Design/Development are the best areas to make a lot)I don’t want to make a fortune. Just want to make a bit of money that will allow me to spend it here. I want to make money that I’ll spend here, because the money I don’t make here I save for other things.
Ok. Thank youManagement / Freelancing (Design/Development are the best areas to make a lot)
Thank you! I'm just currently not set on what I want to do. I'm not sure what it is about me, but I always think of something such as Management Services. Then something in my head makes me not do it because there's always someone that's already known.I’m not sure if you’ve already made up your mind or found your calling, since this thread is from a bit ago. But honestly if you’re looking for some good pocket money working remotely, McM is a very nice platform, despite what many are saying.
I’d recommend honing one of your skills — I’ve found that development pays the most, especially web dev/design — until you’re confident in selling your work. Establish yourself in this community by offering a few free or cheap copies and you’ll be able to build up a following as long as what you’re offering looks unique, good-quality and is reasonably priced.
If you’re young, it’s especially good practice for client-centric interactions and will give you a small glimpse into professional freelancing, while giving you experience. Keep us updated on what you choose to do!
